Red is the colour of my Blood; of the earth, of which I am a part;
of the sun as it rises, or sets,of which I am a part; of the blood
of the animals,of which I am a part;of the flowers, like the waratah,
of the twining pea,of which I am a part;of the blood of the tree of which I am a part.

Rosso è il colore del mio Sangue;della terra,di cui sono parte;
del sole che sorge o tramonta, di cui sono parte;
del sangue degli animali, di cui sono parte;
dei fiori, come il waratah, del pisello rampicante di cui sono parte;
del sangue dell’albero di cui sono parte.
Perché tutte le cose sono parte di me, e io parte di loro.
